On our Tomales Bay/Pt. Reyes Tour, well explore the coastal preserve where the landscape is unsullied and virtually unchanged since the last century. We have a rest stop at Abbots Lagoon where youll have the option to take a hike or off-road bike trek down to the lagoon. Well cycle through the quaint towns of Inverness and Pt. Reyes Station, on the bike path underneath a canopy of redwoods in Samuel P. Taylor State Park and among the peaceful rolling hills along the National Seashore. You may also choose to visit the Tule Elk Reserve and/or the Marin French Cheese Co.
On the inn option, youll stay at the Olema Inn. This beautiful and quaint B&B is less than a quarter of mile from the campsite where youll be joining the camping group for your dinners. You can have breakfast at either the campground, the inn or both places.
On the camping trip, youll spend both nights at Olema Ranch. When youre not cycling, you can explore the visitor center, earthquake nature trail or an authentic replica of a Miwok Indian village, or you may just choose to relax at our campground, where hammocks, magazines, snacks and games are available.
On all the Tomales Bay tours, we offer an optional 1/2 day of kayaking for an additional $40. Its a great way to exercise both your upper and lower body plus you get to experience the beauty of the National Seashore from both land and sea.
