GOURMET MEALS ~

Your meals are personally prepared by Chef JOE Bailey, professionally trained at the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco. Beautiful table settings with china, linens and glassware enhance the fine dining experience. Want to see a TYPICAL MENU ?

Each meal features seasonal ingredients and includes local fare whenever possible. Menus vary depending on the chefs inspiration. In Bodega Bay we often serve Paella, a Spanish dish made with chicken, chorizo, shellfish, vegetables and rice simmered in a saffron stock.

Prepared with your cycling in mind, each meal is generous, nutritious, rejuvenating and delicious. You can sit back and relax while these gourmet meals are being prepared, or you can help Chef Joe with preparations and learn some tricks of the trade.

Wine is a fine complement to our dinners and were happy to give suggestions for pairing the food with wines of your choice. If youre a vegetarian or have a special dietary request, we will gladly accommodate you.

Joe prepares as much as possible from scratch and we guarantee your taste buds will notice the difference. Wait until you try his appetizer of fresh salmon poached in a court bouillon and served with a cucumber dill sauce or his fresh baked bread and pie

"I was really impressed with the overall organization of the weekend, the great food, nice people and relaxed atmosphere. Perfect weekend in every way!"

Fran Palumbo, San Francisco, CA 9/00

All our dinners begin with hors d'oeuvres served about 45 minutes before we sit down to dinner. Next we serve a first course, usually a specially prepared salad with freshly baked bread followed by an entree. After dinner, there's always a sumptuous dessert as well as coffee, tea and hot chocolate.

For breakfast we always set out coffee, tea and hot chocolate, juice, cereal and fresh fruit salad. The hot dishes we serve vary each day. Some favorites include banana pancakes with blueberry sauce, Chef Joe's breakfast veggie stir fry, chili egg puffs and freshly baked scones.

Lunches range from simple to extravagant. One day we may have vegetarian pot stickers and Chinese chicken salad. Another day, we might offer Bombay tuna and Provencal style Italian cold cut sandwiches.

Chef Joe is constantly experimenting with new dishes - always with an aim to delight you.

We don't provide alcoholic beverages, but we'll be happy to store, transport and serve any beer or wine that you bring with you or purchase on the tour. If you're a vegetarian or have a special dietary request, Chef Joe will gladly accommodate you.
