Death Valley Wildflower Tour

Midweek

Death Valley is a place of stark beauty and complex geology; a desert basin surrounded by rugged mountains, snow-covered peaks and the most spectacular star-filled skies weve ever seen. Cycling in the valley is a perfect way to enjoy this matchless natural wonder.
Our five day midweek tour starts and ends in Furnace Creek, where you can refresh yourselves in an Olympic sized swimming pool heated to 82° by a hot spring. A visitor center, museum and shops await you when youre not riding. On Monday, youll cycle to Badwater and then to Golden Canyon where youll have a chance to hike through the canyon after our picnic lunch and then continue on to Zabriskie Point to catch the amazing views. Day two takes us to the shimmering sand dunes on our way to Stovepipe Wells Village where youll enjoy deluxe rooms and a refreshing swimming pool.
On Wednesday, youll bike to Mesquite Springs, where well spend the following two nights in a secluded campground. The treats of the northern edge of the valley await us the next day when you explore the Ubehebe Crater and take a tour of Scottys Castle. On Friday, we cycle back to Furnace Creek, where our adventure began. If you dont have the time for the midweek trip, join us for our weekend tour. We spend both nights at Furnace Creek. You get to see most of the central part of the park, exploring Badwater, Golden Canyon, Zabriskie Point and Salt Creek. After cycling, enjoy the swimming pool, visitor center and shops, or just relax at the campground and watch the sun paint changing hues on the mountain tops. Many of our guests combine our tour with a visit to Las Vegas, which is just two hours away. Whether you choose the two day or five day tour, youre sure to enjoy the magic of this uniquely intriguing place.
